Our story

DesiClutch began with a simple frustration: buying a saree online usually means guessing. Guessing the colour, guessing the drape, guessing whether the blouse piece is really included, and guessing when it will arrive.

We are a small label working with weavers and finishing units in Gujarat. Every piece is photographed as it is and measured before it is listed.

What we make

Sarees and chaniya choli sets, in fabrics that suit an Indian summer as much as a December wedding — organza, georgette, chiffon, tissue, cotton handloom and Banarasi silk.

We keep the range small on purpose. It is easier to be honest about twenty pieces than about two thousand.

How we sell

• Every price is inclusive of GST. There is no charge added at the last step.
• Stock counts are deliberately cautious. Most of our pieces are made by weavers and printers we work with rather than held on our own shelves, so we hold a little back instead of selling the last one against a number we were told that morning — when a page says one left, there is one.
• The delivery window on a product page is the courier’s estimate combined with that piece’s own dispatch time, not a marketing number.
• Returns are seven days from delivery on eligible pieces, and the eligibility is on the product page before you buy rather than in the small print afterwards.
